Nicola Viviani was born in Verona, Italy, in 1985. After graduating in Classical Studies at ‘Scipione Maffei’ High School, he got a Master Degree in Art History at the University of Verona. He further developed his studies about the contemporary avant-garde artistic groups such as Viennese Actionism, Fluxus, Lettrisme, Contemporary Experimental Poetry, Gorgona, Zaj, Mail Art and Beat Generation. Since the nineties he was deeply influenced by Francesco Conz, making friends with artists who came to work with him and receiving teachings from them about art history, techniques and creativity. The experience gained over the years led him to realize his own unique, limited editions with some of the most renowned contemporary artists.
He is a PhD researcher at the University of Warwick (UK), History of Art department, with a project on his friend and mentor, the renowned art collector Francesco Conz.
